Over the past few years Past Life Regression and Regression Therapy has become a very popular way of allowing ourselves to find out who we truly are and why we have chosen to be born at this particular time. Past Life Regression is a means of allowing us to deal with past issues and issues within this life. We are often holding on to a pain that we had centuries ago and when we recognise the true cause of that pain we can release it and let it go. Past Life Regression can also help us to understand questions like these: Why is my mother or father so terrible to me? Why was I abused as a child? Why was I brought up in an alcoholic family? Why do I dislike this person so? Why does he or she treat me like this? Why have I always felt depressed? Why have I always had a bad back, knee, arm etc? Why have I always felt rejected? The list goes on and on: fear, pain, dislike of a certain race or country, terror of things like heights, flying, water, etc. I first became interested in Past Life Regression and Therapy many years ago after reading the story of a child born in the south of India who, from the moment she could talk spoke in the dialect of an area in the far north of the country. The child kept insisting that she needed to go home to make sure that her children were all right. She was adamant that since her husband had hurt and killed her he may do the same to their children. Luckily, and because this was India not a western country, the child's new parents listened to her and the new family travelled to the north of India to the area described by the child. The moment they arrived in the village the child was able to lead them straight to her house. She ran straight in to the house where her husband and children lived telling them that now she was back all would be well. I am afraid I don't remember the outcome of the story but the husband was probably so shocked to see his 'wife' again that he certainly did no harm to the children. This is just one example and probably quite an extreme one but it does give credence to the question, "Have I lived before?" Dr. Brian Weiss has probably done more than anyone in working with people and past lives. His books Many Lives Many Masters and Through Time into Healing to name just two are wonderful examples of case histories showing how effective Past Life Regression can be. Another thing that Past Life Regression can do is to remove the fear of death. When a person dies the spirit (or the consciousness if you prefer) leaves the body. It is then free to travel into the spirit world. Once someone has a complete understanding of how this works, their fear of death is dispelled. After each life the spirit is given the chance to look at the life they have just left behind and to see how they could have behaved differently or more lovingly in a given situation. This experience is often shown a bit like a film. It is never a reproach but a demonstration of how with love we can further our true understanding of ourselves. When I do Past Life Regression I often give people the chance, if they want to, to visit the spirit world so that they can understand what they did or did not learn from that life they have just visited. Also so that they can remember what it is they have promised to do in this life and what it is they have come back to learn. Past Life Regression is never anything to fear. However it is very important that the Past Life Regression therapist understands how to conduct the regression so that the person coming to experience it can get the most understanding possible from the experience thus enabling them to really move forward in this life. Actual session duration is between 11/2 and 2 hours. I record the sitting onto a mini-disk so if you would then like me to make you a copy onto a CD and send it to you, I charge an extra £15 for this service. This is optional because you will remember everything you experience during the session. It is just that you may want something extra to keep. Past Life Regression Pricing Information Note. Most people go very easily into a past life, but there are a few people who block themselves. This can be due to fear, strong religious beliefs or, sometimes, medication. E.F.T. (Emotional Freedom Technique) Emotional Freedom Technique or EFT, as it is more often known, is an amazing treatment that was created by Gary Craig in 1995. Background In 1979 Roger Callahan, who originally studied with the psychiatrist John Diamond, the first person to integrate kinesiology and psychotherapy, was treating a severe water phobic patient called Mary. He found that tapping under her eye whilst getting her to say a positive affirmation brought about an instant remission in her condition. Gary Craig, who studied with Callahan took this one step further when he realised that, and I quote, "The cause of all negative emotions is a disruption in the body's energy system." What this means is this: If you are upset about something, your body holds on to it in a negative way and then often goes on to create emotional disturbances or pain, or both. Gary Craig realised that these emotions could be released by getting the patient to say the correct phase to release the problem, while at the same time either he, or the patient, tapped on the 14 major meridian points. The cure was, and is, in many cases instantaneous, for anything from fears, trauma, or emotional distress, to many major illnesses. It is a totally non-invasive and is also a fantastic treatment for people who feel 'stuck' in their lives. It very often allows them to move on to what is, for them, the 'next step'. I often find that a combination of EFT and Past Life Regression in a slightly longer session provides an absolutely amazing way of helping the person to shift blockages and to move forward with their life.
